IPG Florida Vacation Homes

When we reserved the house through VRBO, we were told the remaining balance was due March 19, 2024. However, IPG attempted to charge my credit card in both October of 2023 and January of 2024. Then, they changed the house because the owner didn't want to rent it anymore, which was fine, but neither VRBO nor IPG notified me. The VRBO app still shows the old house list, and despite my requests, they never resolved it with IPG. When I tried to call property management, sometimes they answered, sometimes I had to email them. The back door to the pool was broken, (their answer to this was "it’s not broken"). Do not trust this company with your money or your vacation. They advised us less than 48 hours before our arrival that our house was Not available. We had already driven 15 hours towards our destination. They suggested another location 3 mins away which we agreed to. Then the next morning, less than 36 hours before our arrival they advised that house wasn’t available either. They wanted us to take a home 30 mins away in a subdivision and not on a Golf course. We originally had booked a home in Highlands Reserve directly across the fairway from our family. For a family vacation. I contacted this group as I plan on taking a trip with my daughter for her birthday to Disney at the end of the month. I booked through Vrbo. I reached out to them as we all may notice covid is making it's way back around. There have been a few cases at my job, and I am trying my best to protect myself. However I wanted to know my options as when the time comes should I be affected I would like to know my options. Should that be a credit anything just to know I would not be forced to my daughter, family coming along or anyone else at risk. They informed there there would no no refund! Not even a credit. I ended up staying at one of these vacation homes that was booked through a friend, I ended up leaving some things at the home. I called the office of the resort where the home was multiple times and left voicemails. No answer no call back. So I showed up, they wouldn’t let me in the gate because I was no longer a guest. They then gave me the number for IPG and I called, they said they needed to find the manger for the property I stayed at and that they would call me back. I waited two days, nothing, so I called again. They took down my email and said I would get an email with updates, I still didn’t receive so much as a call or email. We are old home owner that sold our properties due to the on going issues and all the calls with no return phone calls to this property management company. I wouldn’t let them rent out my dog box !!! After I sold my house they ripped me off for a thousand dollars saying that’s what they had to pay the tenant that was staying in my house .to be relocated for a few days . I tried to work with the tenants to have a showing and they wouldn’t let the people come in due to dunes saying they don’t want anyone there . It wasn’t the tenants it was dunes . Sorry try another company .
