Inverness by McKelvey Homes

We have built 4 homes. This house is the second smallest, by far the most expensive, and the worst quality. We closed in 12/23. We have had 2 leaks in the roof. These were caused from them replacing the roof shingles due to 2 different lot numbers being used. I asked that they check the insulation in the attic as we purchased the upgraded package. We later found bare drywall in spots due to wind whip. There was water in the basement because there were no weep holes in the stone and no caulk on the front of the house. There was ice on the wall in the basement. They forgot the heat run in the laundry room. Our balusters were not secured properly. The sod was put over ground that wasn’t level making it dangerous to walk on. McKelvey told us they were going to fix the wet spot in our backyard.

While we love our physical home, McKelvey and the other builders within Inverness that run our HOA have been a nightmare. They have hired Robin with DNI to help manage the HOA . The builders and DNI support each other and not the paying homeowners. Large sums of money is being spent and nothing is transparent. Dues have continued to go up dramatically, service quality decreased, and money wasted. When asked, McKelvey, the other builders, and DNI are silent or rude. It is our understanding that no audit has been performed the five years our HOA has been around. Unacceptable. Especially when PAYING HOMEOWNERS request additional transparency. They can make the budget look however they want. We want the real info on where and go who our money went.

Way over priced, and if you know Mckelvey homes, you know the quality isn't the best.
