Intervale Gardens

My review is long overdue but I felt the need to share my experience at Intervale Gardens. I absolutely loved my time there and often miss my old apartment as I only had relocated for a bigger 1 bedroom apartment. If I was able to afford the 2 bedroom I would have stayed; no doubt. However, the apartment was beautiful along with the outside. There is laundry in the basement that is clean and well kept. Also, there is a pool on site. Jose is AMAZING!!!! He was more than willing to accommodate me when I was touring the apartment and even reached out to me when one opened up as I didn’t get the first one I went to see as someone else applied for it before me. He was always helpful, on top of everything and quick to assist with any maintenance issues. I strongly recommend this apartment to any

Beware of hidden fees. These apartments were built in the 1960s, and nothing has been properly upgraded or repaired—most issues are simply painted over or superficially covered up. Be cautious about allowing maintenance to enter your unit when you’re not home; personal cleaning supplies went missing after maintenance visits. After raising concerns, there was noticeable retaliation involving the management office, which discouraged requesting further repairs. Overall, the management team is unprofessional and difficult to work with.

Overall my husband and I enjoyed living here (4 years). The superintendent and his team were very responsive with any fixes we needed. It would either get fixed that same day or the following. They did a good job cleaning and maintaining throughout the seasons outside too. The kitchen is small and the walls are thin so you hear everything going on in the next apartment but it matches with the price you're renting. The rent has gone up and it's getting pricy to live here but you get a quiet and clean complex with a good maintenance team. It's also close to major highways, bus station to NYC, and restaurants/grocery stores.

Please avoid this apartment management! I’ve never had a bad experience with such unprofessional team for tenants services, and they care about the out look of the apartment, but if you ask to fix anything, they’ll be pretty impatient! They will blame all the problems to you and tell you they never had sth like this! When we first move in, the paint was poorly done and the sink material was used cheap also rusted quickly …they will treat you like you owe them money all the time even if you are a pay on time tenant…I’m in the moving out phase of the apt, but they would not communicate with you well to show your apartment to other potential renter and will not respect your space at all! Just horrible people to deal with!

I’m only giving it 3 stars. The apartments could definitely use an update not a huge concern for me. I currently live here and have been here for 10 years and will prob stay until I get a house of my own my only complaint that I do have the parking. My family works very long hours and if u are not here before 8 pm you are parking in the police lot and walking to back of the complex to your apartment. I have to carry several pieces of equipment back and forth daily due to my companies policies. If there was better control over who parks in the complex it would be 5 stars…. I do need to say the when u have an issue with your apartment and it’s reported they are right there to fix. During Covid and prior my work required working form home and I need to be in a secure room (given these apartme
