Brian collects a non-refundable pet fee from the tenants and claims it goes towards an “insurance policy.” Upon further questioning we discovered that he actually keeps that money—not the owner! He says this “ I'm also not sure what you mean by you own this and not me but I think you're saying that you own the pet fee that the tenant paid? If that's what you're saying that's not correct per the now expired management agreement, This would have been used to buy into the insurance for the duration of the management agreement... So yes I think we agree on what's being said. But to be clear.
