In December 2025 my husband and I purchased our home from IDK. The builders with IDK have always been very professional but so nice to work with. The gentlemen we have met personally were Bennie, Dawson & Nick and all of them have been so accommodating and understanding in every aspect of our build. Just two days ago Bennie mentioned it's so important to see their finished houses become family homes buyers are so very proud of. Dawson is one of my favorite builders, he is such a respectful young man and if you ever have any questions about your new home or property he is always happy to be there or help in any way he can. We’ve built four homes in over 55 years of marriage. We know the cost to include custom features such as wainscoting, coffered ceilings, crown moldings & numerous can lights. These features were all standard on our IDK home for a very affordable price. In addition, IDK worked with us to modify our kitchen to accommodate a second oven. Our kitchen looks like it should always have had a wall oven & microwave. Coming from Florida, we had a short 30 days to purchase a home & move in. IDK worked with us to make this move as smooth as possible. We highly recommend IDK if you are looking for a quality, affordable home. This experience was the absolute worst and continues to be even after closing. Ron and Benny have been terrible to work with. they made my dream home building experience a horrible time. They were two and half months late with the build to start with. We were then made to believe that it was somehow everyone else's fault. They ordered the wrong things, they put a gas fireplace in our house that as never supposed to be there, they forgot to put a floor outlet in our great room and even after closing we still have things needed to be done in the house. Ron actually told my wife that she complains too much about the house and every house should have some things wrong with it. I bought a home from they 5 years ago and it is terrible quality. There was only a 1 year warranty and they sure did everything they could to avoid fixing anything before the warranty went out. They had no intentions of honoring the warranty nor do they care if the whole house just falls apart. Things have occurred after the warranty and come to find out they didn’t hook things up correctly or even at all. Everything is of the worst quality possible. I would give them no stars if I could. They didn’t even give the full information in the binder I got at closing. I had to get that long after the fact. Poor customer service across the board. Their name really does exemplify who they are “I don’t know” - they have no clue.

They don't honor their 1 year-warranty. Make sure to hire a good inspector PRIOR to purchasing the home. Don't purchase the home till they fix EVERYTHING BEFORE PURCHASE. They promised to fix things, but still haven't fixed my roof. It took them a year to fix my front door. About the front door, it wouldn't latch and close at all because they built the frame of the door shoddily. The painters they hired don't speak English so I couldn't tell them to paint the door sealant to all edges of the door. Because they lacked the knowledge to paint all edges of the door, my front door is warped already. The way IDK Homes fixed my door was by placing 4 spacers in all of the hinges, which is a ghetto temporary fix. They failed to seal my door properly, which allowed so many centipedes to crawl throu
