Avoid this company. A plumber let himself in and removed our dishwasher, while my pregnant wife was sleeping "oops wrong apartment" they said. They're jacking up our rent almost 60% after a one year lease. Poor communication from the office, you have play phone tag with a handful of people to get anything done. They are the epitome of the worst you would expect from a corporate management company. We will never rent from them again. Avoid, avoid, avoid.

Horrible excuse for a business, unprofessional at every turn. We dealt with issues constantly and were not often taken seriously. Rented a unit managed by them for 2 years and can’t say I had a good experience once throughout that time. Zach Levine was particularly difficult to work with. He was rude and entitled in every interaction once the lease was signed. As someone else mentioned, google the name and lawsuit to see the 500k settlement they had to pay. Save yourself a headache, avoid.

I'm surprised by some of these other reviews, but everyone has different experiences with renting. I'm a tenant in a building in Brooklyn managed by Icon, with Anastasia Duran as our contact and Cecilio Paquay as our super, and I came on to say that it's been the best management experience I've ever had as a renter. Every problem we've had, from a roof leaking to drains clogged, has been fixed almost immediately, and our communication with management has always gotten prompt responses. It seems a lot of reviews are upset about rent increases, but I figure that has more to do with the landlord's whims. In my building, no one has had a rent increase of more than 4% with some units rent controlled, so I imagine it varies by the building's landlords rather than Icon itself, given other rev

NEVER SIGN WITH THESE SNAKES. They were terrible from the start. Should've known not to sign after just meeting Zach Levine, the slimiest agent I've ever met. They started renovating the apartment before we moved in and day 1 was full of wet paint, contractors coming in and out, and bugs everywhere! They wouldn't pay for us to stay anywhere else for the first couple nights and just told us to clean out the sawdust ourselves, avoid touching the walls, and just sleep there for the night. Our apartment rent cost $11,000+/mo and they couldn't even be bothered with giving us enough keys to match the number of bedrooms??? They said they'd reach out about setting up the electricity bill and NEVER DID. They're so sneaky, they would just email us to come to the office to meet in-person without say

Overall we’ve had a great experience in the building living between 10/2022 to 08/2023! Though we got the 2 days after the lease started, it came freshly painted. The management promptly replaced our microwave in 10 days when it had an issue and respond to the emails in 1-2 days.
