I lived there about two and half years in two different units. The first unit was 1b1b at building 10, which was good except the train noise from the other side of the highway, but it didn’t bother me. The second unit was a 2b2b in building 7. When I first moved in, the main bedroom had really bad vibration noise from upper and lower floor. If I turned on the fan, it got even worse. The situation got little better until the fan motor in the lower floor was replaced. But there was still minor noise at night you can hear. The power in that unit was not stable. It went off and on always. The water pipe system was old. I shower twice a day and there was orange water stain built up badly within a week. I pay 1500 dollars a month. I’m a disabled veteran. Im on medicine that makes me sensitive to the heat. This is what 1500 dollars gets me at the icons.

We had a maintenance emergency on a Sunday night, we got a call back right away which was very very relieving! Derek knew exactly what he was doing and remained calm the whole time to complete the job. He even cleaned after which was so so kind. The past few times Derek has come out to us, he leaves us notes that are detailed and kind to let us know how he handled the requests. Seems like he really cares about his job and we see him often around the property picking up debris. He’s always working hard and doing something!! Living at the Icons is nice as well because they really don’t let the neighborhood get dirty, they office ladies are very kind and I’m very excited that they do events during the summer! Derek seems to be the only maintenance person for the whole complex. Issues go a month or more without being resolved. Apartment is nice but the only one worth anything in the office is Monica. Derek is great but he can’t keep up. If something breaks, you’re screwed

Would NOT recommend anyone rent here. We have had a roach problem for weeks. They do a rotation spray every few weeks and we have had a professional come in to treat the apartment. You have to pack up all of your stuff and the kitchen is un-useable. After two weeks we are still finding roaches. We have never found a dead roach, so clearly the “treatment” is ineffective. When talking to the front desk ladies about it, it’s extremely apparent they don’t care at all. They don’t apologize, they don’t offer accommodations… Aside from the annoyance of having bugs in your apartment; my husband has a lingering cough and I have hives anytime I eat in our kitchen. (Both proven side effects of roaches) Needless to say- they refuse to let you break your lease without paying 2 months rent plus any mont
