Love this auction house. It's a bit far for me for pick ups, but has great vintage items. The staff at pick up is very nice with the exception of one gentleman who I've gotten multiple times and he's just grumpy and mean. I've let other people go ahead of me at pick up, in efforts to avoid him. All the other staff is exceptional. But driving 2 hours each way to be treated badly is not good customer service. UPDATE: Recently spent $970 at their auction. Got home and was missing one small box. They called me back and there was no question that nothing would be done to help me when in fact a $1 refund would have made me happy. I was told, it doesn't matter if their descriptions list items that are not in the lot, if their pictures are not accurate, they will not stand behind these items. I w

The employees of hurleys auctions are amazing.they do a wonderful job at the auction site.today two of the ladies were shoveling snow so customers could do pick ups.These ladies should Not be out shoveling.Managment should have had some fore sight.take care of the wonderful assets you have in your staff

These are great people to deal with - The items are clean and they will tell you if there is any issues and offer preview times. They are quick to respond and always have time to answer questions. Great customer service and a very nice way to clear out your house.

They negotiated a better price than the top bid for the house, so we were definitely happy about that. Auctioning the contents of the house was a good way to get it cleared out. We didn't make a ton of money after the fees, but it was super convenient and less expensive than paying someone to clean out the house. The reason it's not 5 stars is that communication was pretty bad. They placed calls to our elderly parents instead of the point of contact listed, and they gave the buyer unsupervised access to the house to make the lender's required repairs, without our permission or even notifying us first.
