Builder chooses the worst management and warranty companies. HP seems to stop caring for the home owners once the mortgage goes through. Neighborhood has many issues that take forever to fix (if they get fixed at all). House quality is good despite cosmetic issues after one year. Was hoping for a better home building/buying experience.

Pros: house-buying process was easy and sales people and office staff were helpful and attentive. Houses are beautiful. Cons: as soon as you move in, they seem to stop caring. Fixes take forever. Contractors lie, are shady, ask for money, leave messes, do lazy fixes, if they show up at all. Management gives courtesy calls to make it seem like they were contacted and now things will start moving along, but they don't. Their warranty company is even worse-- the owner screamed and cussed at me himself after I raised concerns that months have passed with them ignoring calls and emails. It's been 3.5 years since we moved in and a roof issue has come back which we are still waiting to be properly fixed for about 6 months now. We had a extremely good experience with our respective. They are so informative.and the homes are built very well. The decorator's do an amazing job.
