We just closed on our home today and have nothing but amazing things to say about this builder. This is the 3rd home, 2nd new construction home my husband and I have purchased (first from this builder) and I will say the craftsmanship is impeccable. They walked through with us and fixed any discrepancies we saw on the spot and it’s so good to see that they truly care about the product they’re putting out. We are so in love with our new home. And the Bible given to us is such a beautiful touch.
I have bought three homes built by Hunter Development since 2008 and have had nothing but a great experience! The builder site and office staff have been extremely helpful, kind and quick with responses. During my one year warranty they were extremely helpful and making sure all repairs and trades people were on the ball completed in a timely manner and done with excellence. I could not ask for more from a builder, and I have loved every single home. They have built for me!
Great builder! Professional staff, excellent quality and easy to work with!
We have been in our home since October 2018 and of course the home comes with a one year warranty. Every single work order I have had to spend weeks contacting Beverly to ensure the work order actually got submitted as well as usually contacting the contractor myself if she can’t get the job done. I spoke with Beverly at the end of March about getting our drywall issues fixed and now here we are almost at the end of May with nothing resolved. She refuses to give me the name and number of the contractor so I am able to work out a schedule with him. The thing is we are very happy with our home but the fact that we can’t ever get a work order completed without the headache of constantly having to email or call someone is getting quite old.
Where do I begin? Make sure you get EVERYTHING in writing. I assume that every single one of their new constructions come with a 1 year home builder warranty. They don't want you to call them every time you find an error with craftsmanship, and you are going to find A LOT of them. I retired after 21 years as a structural engineer, vertical, horizontal, brick and mortar, etc.... and there is no such thing as a nail pop! It's called poor craftsmanship and laziness! I began submitting errors within the first month of living in the house. It took me having to file a grievance with the NC DOJ, Attorney Generals office, the BBB, NC Real Estate Association, and numerous e-mails between 3 different people. Now with only 2 months left on my warranty (and don't you dare use COVID as an excuse!!!!) t
