My husband and I bought his first home and my second this past Spring (2022) using Melissa Tropp as our buyer's agent. We moved here from Illinois in late 2021. I was a licensed Realtor in my state for 3 years prior to moving. I moved to Western NY without knowing the area or the housing market. Melissa made us both feel extremely confident in our decisions. Josh McDougall was one of the most professional and reliable agents. We looked with him for over 9 months before we finally found something and he never gave up on us. We used an agent at Hunt to rent a unit in our owner-occupied building. From the beginning we could tell he was young and inexperienced but went along with it because, hey, everyone has to start somewhere and we're small potatoes. His visit to our property felt rushed and like we were just another business deal. We shrugged that off, again because, really, our one little unit didn't demand the big guns. After multiple months, we finally got a few interested parties. The agent was very firm that we accept a particular applicant, even though we expressed hesitation with their financial status.
