I lived at an HRV property for 7 years and enjoyed my time very much. Common areas (hallways, lobby, etc) in the building were very well-maintained. (You could often smell lemon cleaning products...a good sign of floors being cleaned frequently!!) Over the course of my 7 years there, I ran into a few expected repairs (general wear and tear) and all were dealt with promptly and courteously. Willy (the super for my building) was always super responsive and clearly takes pride in the building being clean, safe, and having a sense of community. The HRV Management team was also very helpful during the years I lived there. I left because a job took me out of NYC but if I were to return to NYC, I would rent from HRV again.

I have lived in NYC for over 15 years and lived in 2 of their buildings. I have always done business with Anne at the office and she is always responsive and is super professional. HRV follows up on work requests and is very thorough. Their buildings are very clean, and both had live in supers. My super Jesus at 31-64 is excellent. He keeps a well maintained building and always smells so clean! He is responsive and very polite. For NYC, I recommend renting from HRV. From experience, I have had very bad management companies in the past, but HRV is not one of them! HRV is professional, friendly, responsive and clean! Well done.

HRV is a great management company. I lived in a building of theirs for a year, and the few times an issue came up they responded and fixed it within a day. They have certain expectations of their tenants, which might surprise people who are used to landlords who don't do anything but cash their rent checks. But that's the price you have to pay for a clean, well-kept, well-managed building. Anne and the superintendent Willie were great, and very responsive. Highly recommend.

I’m still new to HRV, having lived in one of their buildings for only two months, but I’m so impressed with the service I decided to leave a review. Anne is the sweetest, answering my questions and helping me get paperwork in order. We moved to this building from a privately owned property and we’re nervous due to stories we’ve heard about cold management companies but Anne puts a very human face to the process. I always feel like she knows who I am, despite being one of possibly hundreds of tenants she deals with. I’m posting this for anyone who is like me and was afraid of being lost in the numbers. HRV pays attention to its tenants.

HRV is a very professional management company with wonderful response time from the office. A main priority is the safety and security of tenants limiting open access to the buildings to residents and staff. The supers and maintenance team are friendly and efficient. Buildings are clean, regularly serviced and well maintained.
