Horizon Homes

We had an awful experience living in this complex. We lived above a noisy neighbor who screamed and banged on the walls all day & night. Despite countless reports and supplying video evidence as requested by the leasing office, Horizon Homes Management did nothing to resolve the issue or allow us to switch units or end our lease. The amenities are outdated or lacking: the pool is rarely open, the gym is dirty and smells of mildew following a few flooding incidents, the dog park has holes all over the fence, and the tennis and basketball courts have massive cracks in the pavement’s.

Very nice and comfortable place to live. Well illuminated second floor flats and very calm. Lived there until 2024 and the rental management company was very attentive.

I lived here for about 2 years and had a very pleasant experience. Apartments are spacious. The office staff and maintenance team are incredibly friendly and helpful. Only complaints are 1) I'd prefer if the complex had a secure mail room 2) I believe this was a one-off scenario, but my specific apartment was on the ground floor, right above the boiler room, so it got incredibly hot during the summer. It was referred to as "The Sweat Lodge". Other than that, I loved the location and the people! Great starter apartment complex!

I've lived here for years. I've never had too many issues. I have recommended people to move here because it is relatively quiet and close to everything. The apartments are spacious, even though they aren't modern/luxury, but I love the closet space. The only issue is food delivery has a hard time finding the apartments.

I wanted to apply for an apartment here but was told that because I had two small dogs (7lbs and 9lbs) it wasn’t allowed however the apartments allow two cats, which are usually larger than both of my dogs. Agent was snarky when I questioned the logic and tried to cite tenant laws and how it would be “unfair” to other tenants who may want two dogs. I was perfectly willing to pay extra for the additional dog but was fobbed off by the agent who said she would “ask” but clearly had no intentions of doing so. Disappointed because it was a nice property but not cool with how rigid and discriminatory they were. Also forgot to mention one of the dogs is an actual emotional support animal, not the fake ones you see everyone claiming nowadays but hey, hide behind your apartment bylaws.
