I had such a traumatizing experience with homesteaders realty that it took me a while to write this review. I rented a place from Rachel, sight unseen, when moving my elderly mother with health conditions from Florida. I specifically told Rachel I needed a place with no issues, especially no mold, due to my mom's condition. Rachel had me put a deposit of one months rent on a trailer she swore was very clean with no concerns for my mom. I arrived from Florida with the moving truck while my brother flew mom into Albuquerque. Rachel left the key under a rock for me. I opened the home up. Can't say enough! Earnest, professional service that gets things done on your behalf. The market is tight and Rachel gave us great advice and executed efficiently so we could close on our property. (On time too! I know for a fact this is rare nowadays)

rachel is a serious slumlord. we would pay months of rent at a time and she was the most negligent landlord i have ever experienced or heard of. weve had 2 bed bug infestations in 2 different rentals during our 4 months of renting through her. we keep an extremely clean house and she costantly says we brought them in but the reality is that they already nested in her decrepit apartments. we had to clean both apartments, one took 10 hours. i beg you not to use this realty company. i wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy.
