The folks at Deltona always go out of their way to make you feel welcome. And this new kiosk system they have is really cool. You can review all of their Ocala properties by development, by model, by floorplan, and even by school district if you like. The whole process makes buying a new home an enjoyable experience.

This is the worst company they cut down all the trees there are half complete homes that have been sitting for months and they never clean up the mess they make. I have lived here for 2 years now and this continues without stop. If you are not going to complete the home do not start it. Clean up your mess and stop killing the wildlife for your unfinished homes.

I would love to be able to write a favorable review but, alas, so far our experience has been disappointing to say the least. We placed an order for a Deltona home in the beginning of Oct 2021. We weren't pleased to have to wait 10 months for our home but we were having trouble finding existing homes in the Ocala area in our price range. We believed that a builder as big as Deltona would be able to finish a quality product on time. Here we are less than two weeks of the scheduled closing date and our home is nowhere near finished. Our salesperson has no idea when the project will complete and when closing will be rescheduled. Everyone is aware that there has been issues that are out of the builders control. Folks do NOT buy here in Marion Oaks. Deltona Corp thought they had it all figured out when they started. This is unincorporated Marion County the streets need work, they let the golf course close, they claim deed restrictions but ZERO consequences. Abandoned cars, houses, the small shopping center where post office is located has subpar parking & the building needs care. 50% of the houses are rentals by owners that don’t care, a huge amount is section 8 housing. Property values are 30 to 40% below other areas in Ocala. Deltona doesn’t care & it’s not even the main builder. They have a civic association that you must pay seven dollars a year to join this is not a homeowners association. The civic association in reality has very little authority to enforce the deed restrictions. More to co
