This is one of the most unprofessional landlords I have ever worked with. And I work with a lot! We ended up in the space because of an acquisition we did. The week after the transaction this landlord told us he wanted us out because he had somebody willing to pay more. Didn’t even ask us if we were interested. Since then he’s been a slumlord. Will not pay for anything. Trash has been piling up for two weeks, there are cockroaches in our space because of the neighbors and trash accumulation. When we tell him about the issues he denys them adamantly. The cleaning people were attacked multiple times, and he refuses to put additional locks on the doors. He is concerned that will cost him $250. He says he has big plans, but he treats his tenants terribly. He treats everybody terribly in fact.
