HM Management, LLC and its owner, Steve Hornsby, is a man of character with dignity, transparency, and is effective and efficient. All my interactions with him have been positive and his response time is terrific. You can not go wrong with him and his company.

Cannot recommend this company enough! Response time is fantastic. I have yet to not hear back within a day. Steve’s professionalism and understanding presented towards his clients is unmatched! HM handles property issues appropriately and effectively. They are everything our old company wasn’t: connected, responsive, responsible, and attentive.

I was part of the board that brought on HM Management back in 2011 and are still very much pleased with their service. Steve was our first manager until Jared took over but he still keeps in touch and makes sure we are happy. We had a major roof repair to our community of 45 units last year that went perfectly. I look forward to many more years of their service!

The worst. Thank goodness they’re no longer our management company. We moved onto a different management company for our building as of January 2023. I paid our new company the HOA fee but of course, HM Management still charged me an HOA fee as well even though we don’t associate with that management company anymore. I called, left ONE message, and haven’t received a call back as of this writing. Steve reached back out to me via email and told me they can’t refund me and that it’ll be sent to the new management team as a credit. No explanation as to why they can’t refund me. The response I got when I asked WHY I couldn’t get the HOA fee refunded was literally, “Unfortunately we have to transfer all funds to the new management company. My apartment experienced a sewage/graywater backup on Saturday, 12/19/2020. After a quick call to the after-hours emergency line, there was a reply saying that contractors were on their way to solve the problem. However, after 3-4 hours of waiting, the sewage flood issue still was not resolved, and nobody answered the after-hours emergency line. Later on, the flood stopped and I assumed that the contractors cleared out the blockage. However, I received a definitive answer from neither HM Management nor the contractors. Yet, the issue returned not even a month after. On 01/09/2021, my toilets were not flushing properly, and thus it was an indicator to me that the sewage line was backed up again.
