What a joke! I would not recommend anyone to rent from this Establishment. I rented a place that hindsight managed for one year. I returned the place, exactly like it was despite one little tiny hole in the bedroom door. These people broke down my $1550 deposit into fractions of four or five different things like lightbulbs, paint, cleaning fee, kept my whole deposit for a bunch of made up things. Please look elsewhere and do not rent from Anywhere that this place manages.

Unfortunately, when moving out, Hindsite (specifically Charles Escutia and Meg) were unresponsive to our requests to provide and itemized receipt for cleaning and lawncare. We took a 9-minute walk out video and adhered to their move out cleaning checklist, but still were charged a $377 cleaning fee. We were billed $500 for mowing and edging. After 3 weeks of unanswered emails and phone calls, I have come to understand Hindsite does not care about its renters. Updating my post as another week has gone by with no reply. Would give zero stars if I could.

My wife and I just rented a home. 27 live oaks on the property, one white oak tree. 24 trees are dead. Before we moved in I tried to make an offer to take care of the trees at half price. They told me to put in a work order once we moved in. I did and they treated me like I was stupid and didn’t know what I was talking about and totally disrespected me. Charls the owner/manager told me if I keep being difficult they won’t deal with me and will only deal with my wife directly. I own a professional Tree Service I know what I’m talking about. These trees are dead and brutal, and could fall at any time.

My partner and I have been with this company for a few years now and we’ve never had an issue. It was our first time moving into a house and Charles was extremely helpful and sweet when he showed us the house and even had a handyman come fix our doorbell when he realized it wasn’t working! I did wait a few years to actually write a review as to see how our experience could change but I’m glad to say it’s been great overall ! We also Just extended our lease !

We lived in one of their properties for 3 years and it was ok. We were really good tenants FWIW. I'm posting this as a tip for other renters. For maintenance requests, if it's simple-you can use the portal and they send a handyman to fix. If there is any complexity to the issue whatsoever, like if the guy cant fix it the first time, just drive to the office. You will not get these people on the phone and they will just send out the same person over and over and then close the request. The lady who works there is pretty nice, if you're polite and persistent she will take care of you. Just...save yourself some time trying to call them or work through the portal if the issue is beyond a minor fix. We did get our security deposit back from them.
