Hilyard House Apartments

The Hilyard House is a wonderful building and community, close to campus and downtown, and beautifully maintained. The units are spacious and clean and come with great amenities. In addition, Tammie, the manager, and her family are incredibly generous, helpful, and kind. They are understanding and available to the tenants and are wonderful people. This is by far one of the best places to stay in Eugene!

The location is perfect, and so is having two bathrooms in a two bedroom unit, but what really made the Hilyard House awesome was the property manager. Tammie is always gardening, organizing, making herself available, and just being a fantastic property manager. Having such a genuine person running the ship was a huge comfort, and I had a great experience living in the Hilyard House for two years.

My husband and I lived here in 2018 while he was finishing his undergraduate degree at UO, and we moved back to the Portland area once he had graduated. I am beginning a masters degree at UO this Fall, and I knew immediately that we wanted to live back at the Hilyard House once again because of how wonderful Tammie and Tim are. Tammie has gone above and beyond her duties as a property manager, and I feel as though she is like a second mom to me. She truly cares about every single tenant, and is just a wonderful person. In addition, the apartments are clean and spacious, and I love the extra safety that the gated building provides. The units are so well-priced, especially being so close to campus! I would recommend living here to absolutely anyone.

In terms of the balance of price, location, security, and living conditions, the Hilyard house apartments was far above par. I would have definitely lived here during all my college life if I had found this place earlier. I strongly recommend. But the best of all was my manager Tammy, and her husband Tim. They were both always enthusiastic, reliable (very quick with responses), and willing to help with issues; she helped my problems like it was hers and resolved them in a very timely manner. For those of you who are looking for a well-balanced place, you should definitely choose this place because I bet you are not going to get a better manager than Tammy. :)

My daughter lived at Hilyard House and I got to know the manager, Tammy who is absolutely wonderful. She cares so much for her tenants. I live in Portland Oregon and it’s so comforting to know my daughter had a caring manager that she could go to. The apartment complex is always looks great when I came to visit and it’s because Tammy takes such good care of the premises.
