Hilltop View Apartments

Had found “mold like substance”, further than called and had maintenance and office staff assess the situation. We were told it would be all cleaned at the end of the day as well as supplied a dehumidifier. It was cleaned with high content bleach cleaner which was fine until it was painted over & all the moisture was blamed on winter colder temperatures. Meanwhile there is now moisture trapped between layers & layers of paint. Definitely would not recommend due to no permanent solution was ever given. Even damaged about $300-400 in my belongings. Not once was mentioned reimbursement for any damage property. I lived here for 2 years and overall had a great experience. Management was always extremely friendly, and the maintenance responded quickly to my issues. My refrigerator stopped working on Thanksgiving, and it was replaced swiftly after. Issues were generally addressed in a timely manner with no hassle. It is a quiet area within walking distance of a grocery store, the canal, and a few bars/restaurants. Overall, a pleasant place to live. The people who live there were also very friendly and respectful which made the experience even better. The only complaints I have is that I had a tub that leaked the entire time and it did not get fixed at any point (even though they marked it complete in the resident portal) and the interior could use some updating for the amount of money they are askin

I have lived in Hilltop for over 10 years and have moved around to a couple different units. I have had a good experience here over my time and appreciate the management and maintenance staff! They do a great job and are generally always available or get back to you in a timely manner!

This apartment complex needs new management, a manager....something. Being in Spencerport village is really the only thing positive. The apartments are old old old. Baseboard heating in every room, antique appliances, no microwave. Lighting fixtures are very outdated. Foyers are not vacuumed, windows aren't cleaned. The grounds have garbage on the lawn, rotting pumpkins in the bushes. The place is just gross. They charge $1200. A month and have nothing to offer. No pool, playground, gym. Keep looking. I have pictures to show the housing authority. If I could attach them here I would.

I have lived here for 12 years and have not had any problems. Hilltop View is a quieter complex and is well kept. Many updates over the years such as siding and windows along with biannual sealing of the parking lots. Maintenance issues are responded to in a timely manner. I highly recommend Hilltop View.
