Hilltop at Shavano

I lived at Hilltop Apartments for two years and ultimately broke my lease to purchase a home. Unfortunately, my experience here was extremely disappointing. During my time at Hilltop, my garage was broken into and multiple bicycles and personal items were stolen. My F-150 also had its taillights ripped off. The reason this keeps happening is simple: the gates are constantly broken. In the two years I lived there, they were broken more often than they were functioning. Security isn’t the only issue. The mailboxes were repeatedly broken into, to the point that for months residents had to retrieve mail directly from the post office. The property itself is poorly maintained — dog waste everywhere, dumpsters consistently overflowing, and trash scattered around the grounds. It often felt unsan

I recently toured this apartment community and had a great experience. The leasing staff Brenly was very friendly, professional, and took the time to answer all of my questions. The tour was well organized and they showed me all the amenities and the apartment layout clearly. The property was clean, well maintained, and the atmosphere felt welcoming. I really appreciated how patient and informative the staff was during the visit. Overall it was a very positive tour experience, and I would definitely recommend checking this community out if you’re looking for a new place to live.

Overall, I am very pleased. Special shout out to Arionne and Maribel !!! You two are truly an asset to this community!!! Although my time at Hilltop is drawing to an end soon, I wish there was a way to make it possible to stay. This community is friendly and welcoming, pet friendly. I would offer the feedback of possibly making bottom units available with a fenced private yard. I would also suggest that an added layer of security could be with each tenant having a gate code unique to them. Thank you for making this my home!!!

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE HILLTOP AT SHAVANO! I came in today to tour and I instantly fell in love with the property. To make things even better! The Leasing manager Maribel was AMAZING!! She is so warm and bubbly and very friendly!! I recommend anyone wanting to tour here to ask for Maribel specifically!! She cares about her future residents coming in. The apartments themselves already win your heart over, but with Maribel’s added season 😌 I had to apply today!! The unit I was shown was amazing and you can’t beat the price of this lovely place. She offered my snacks and refreshments when we toured the model unit and I’ve never had that done to me when touring anywhere. I’m hoping to call this my home very soon!! Thank you Maribel for your warm embrace into this wonderful place 🙌🏾✨

I love living here so far. The unit is super cute and the property itself it great. I love the fact that there's two dog parks on property and it's so close to Eisenhower park. Maintenance is also great! They've addressed issues very quickly and professionally. Orlando especially is super friendly and works hard. When the trash was overflowing, he was out there in the morning clearing things up and ensuring the area was clean. My only issues were with my unit itself. It's apparent that they quickly painted over previous damage from the tenant before me. The balcony also has some cosmetic damage from the previous tenant's dog. The water pressure is also really low for some reason. Maintenance worked on it very promptly when I put in a request, but I think it's a building issue outside of th
