Hillside Apartments

We lived here for 3+ years and loved it. This complex is very quiet and management is very easy to get along with. Plus, it is affordable and our apartment was massive. I would recommend the Hillside to anyone moving to the Blacksburg/Christiansburg area. It was the perfect apartment to live in during the pandemic and we utilized the back patio regularly.

Lived here for 4 years (moved out in 2015) and really enjoyed it. Property management was pretty incompetent and tough to deal with -- calls are often not answered nor returned even with voicemails left -- but we hardly had any problems so I look back on my time there fondly. I think they are one of the nicer sets of apartments in Christiansburg too having visited several places.

You will not have access to parking as you like. Your visitors need to park down the hill in a gravel area. Management is by far the worst. She does not own up to the truth. She’s very unprofessional and the owner wants nothing to do with you. You will be refunded maybe half your deposit because the owner charges for paint , carpet cleaning , general cleaning, and anything else she can charge you so that you are not refunded the correct amount. The apartments are not maintained at all , this included no pest treatment. This explain why the owner must take most of your deposit. Please AVOID signing anything with this complex. The apartments may look nice but that’s because the owner takes every bit of your deposit. The owner visits the complex when everyone is at work and she acts like she

Avoid Hillside in Christiansburg at all costs. Mold problems (documented) and water damage issues that the property manager could care less about. Don't chance health issues and deal with brutal customer service.

Lived here two years so far and had no troubles. Any issues that arose have been corrected swiftly and professionally.
