I was really disappointed with the pool and hot tub maintenance at this apartment complex. I went in the evening hoping to relax in the hot tub, but it was completely unacceptable — the water was full of leaves and dead insects. It was clearly not cleaned or maintained properly. A hot tub is supposed to be a place to unwind, not something you hesitate to step into because of hygiene concerns. For a community that charges premium rent, basic amenities like the pool and spa should be kept clean and usable at all times. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and improves their cleaning and maintenance schedule.

Living at The Hills of Diamond Bar has been one of the most stressful and unhealthy housing experiences I have ever had. Since moving in, my unit has had ongoing water intrusion, recurring mold growth, and a severe ant infestation affecting multiple rooms. These issues have been reported repeatedly over many months, yet repairs have been delayed, minimized, or improperly handled. Water has visibly entered through windows during rain, mold has returned even after repairs, and ants regularly enter through window sills, baseboards, drains, and fixtures — including bedrooms. What has made this situation worse is the management response, particularly from Omar. Concerns were repeatedly dismissed, blamed on “condensation,” or shifted onto the tenant despite clear documentation, photos, videos,

Construction work can last as long as two months, possibly related to plumbing or water pipe maintenance…. Regarding in-unit maintenance, workers may enter apartments without wearing shoe covers, stepping directly onto carpets without asking . And this happens when you are at home so imagine when you are not. Basic hygiene standards are not consistently enforced during in-home maintenance. The community is dog-friendly, which may be a positive aspect for some residents. However, it also means that dogs may bark continuously late at night, sometimes around midnight. Believe or not my mom over the phone can hear them ad late as 11pm. For people who are sensitive to noise or who expect a full night of uninterrupted rest, this can be a serious issue and may require explicitly raising concern

Robbed of 1000$ of deposit money because of a patio door that was broken before I moved in. Also, the place was left cleaner than when I moved in. I found toenails and dirt all over the apartment when I moved in. Very nice staff and complex. However keep in mind, they will rip you off upon move out. That is guaranteed. Expect 1-2k of your deposit not to be returned to you. I have spoken to others that have had a very similar experience. When you pay this much for rent, it seems wrong to do this to good paying tenants.

This is a nice renovated apartment. We have received very nice neighbors and have been accommodated nicely when he have any issues arise. The new updates to the landscaping are very nice and help give a nice view on walks. The family community helps us grow as well as the pet family community so we may interact more with our neighbors. Overall this is a nice place to grow a little one whether it be a baby or a new pet. We enjoy it here.
