My siblings and I had pre-planned our mom's funeral several months ago. Tom and Jennifer were so kind and helpful with that process. When mom passed a couple of weeks ago, we were still somewhat overwhelmed in spite of the pre-planning. Tom was so reassuring and compassionate. He answered every question we had, and was available to us whenever we needed him. He and Jennifer took care of so many things we hadn't even realized they could help with. We had mom's service and luncheon all right at Hildebrand, and it could not have gone more smoothly. Tom and Jennifer are truly the most compassionate people I've ever had the pleasure to meet. They are very special, and we are so grateful to them for helping us through such a difficult time.

Around 3 years ago, after deaths in my family, I decided that I should make funeral arrangements for my husband and myself. I chose Hildebrand Funeral Home because we had known Dave Russ for many years. I was very grateful to work with Jennifer who was extremely kind, thorough and thoughtful in helping me identify and plan the overall funeral arrangements that I felt would fit our needs. My husband recently passed away after many years of struggle with several health issues. Tom Kniewel came to our home at 3 in the morning as my husband died at home under Hospice Care. Tom's compassion and caring and informing actually made the entire process seem easy. We were given direction on other after death issues we weren't even aware that needed to be addressed. Never having gone through this before he was patient and kind and understanding.

My mother passed in September and we contacted Hildebrand funeral home in Rhinelander Wisconsin as we had heard about them from a friend. They were extremely reasonable on the cost of of a cremation. They came to our home and were so kind and caring, and very respectful of our mother and us. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We thank all who were involved for everything they did for us on our mom‘s passing.

I had to plan a cremation and funeral service unexpectedly. Tom and his team made me feel comfortable and look the team to get to know who my grandmother was and her final requests. Tom helped me so much through this process. He was very patient and understanding with my confusion and questions. My grandmother had some very specific requests that they were able to make happen with ease. They also went above and beyond with the custom video tribute that the family and friends all loved before and after the service. Outside of how great the service went, Tom and his wife showed me and my family so much warmth and respect through and after the completion of the services.
