Highline Apartments

I have been living here almost a year. When I came Shannon Hall was managing the apartments. She was excellent! I hate someone else bought the apartments and fired all the staff they should have kept. It’s been down hill ever since she was let go. She was the diamond to this apartment complex. Now we have no maintenance and have went through so many managers. My toilet in the hall been stopped up for two weeks. I have put in so many maintenance request and no body can help. The building (6) has a water leak in vacant apartment down stairs. Neighbor under me restroom toilet stopped up as well. My whole apartment flooded because of neighbor over me kitchen sink and dishwasher flooded and they patched up my ceiling. Cracks in cabinets in restroom in my bathroom that’s in the room. DO NOT SIGN THAT LEASE! If I could give 0 stars I would! Absolutely had a terrible experience living here. The apartment goes through frequent management changes (which is a red flag in itself but I had no ideas at the time) the current property manager is rude and unprofessional. Shanelle Smith — terrible customer service and cadence when dealing with residents. Her staff has their share of good and bad days themselves but her attitude is consistently ABHORRENT! We stayed in an apartment basically infested with gnats and fruit flies. The woods are so close to certain buildings you can’t even blame the insects for coming in. On Friday July 18th, 2025 I met the new manager Kelly. I told her my garbage disposal wasn't working, that my kitchen drain was running slow and that the water was backing up inside my dishwasher. She walked to my apartment with me and fixed my disposal and the dishwasher. I no longer have to wash dishes in the bathroom sink! She was extremely helpful and very, very nice. If you have issues please go inside the office and she will help you. Great Job Kelly!

Claim they doing immediate move-ins , Went into the office did my application turning all my documents in paid my application fee with a money order I was calling checking to see if my application got approved they said it was approved that was waiting on to get me a unit number kept calling kept getting out on hold and some lady in the office finally got on the phone claimed that they can't find my application it's a scam these folks ran off with my $50 and still ain't contacted me.

Apparently I am paying for the “deluxe” apartment. But have the same floors as the regular apartments. The carpet was from the last people & had animal hair in it before I even brought my cats over. My ceiling is painted different off white colors. My floor has water damage as well as most of the cabinets. My railing on the balcony is morphed. My vent was taped on. The only reason my apartment looks good is because I had to go though & repaint everything & I’ve spent over 2000$ trying to make it look nice. I’m paying more money for a terrible apartment. I’ve had a different apartment at this same complex & it was beautiful with new carpets & new hardwood but now that I am paying more I have more issues. #upset
