Highlands Community Bank

I called today to see if I could get some help or an extension/deferral on my loan because it’s after Christmas and my family is struggling. I asked to be put through to a loan officer and a lady took the phone call. She acted immediately like I was a bother and told me no right away. I understand that she may not have been able to help me but it doesn’t take much to be compassionate and meet the person on the same level. As if I didn’t feel defeated enough having to call because of my situation, she definitely made it worse. I just hope next time she can be more considerate.

I love Highlands Community Bank! Their staff is so professional, trustworthy, and knowledgeable with customer service that is exemplary!

The ONLY place I would consider banking in the Alleghany Highlands. Have personal and business accounts there. Wonderful people, outstanding customer service. Every decision is made lically, and they are very active in the community.

I haven’t gone longer than a week with out an issue . The bank is simply not good
