Customer Reviews
I am so happy I chose to lease an apartment at Highbridge. It’s been a great experience on many levels. I just relocated from Boston and the staff of Highbridge and Steelhead Management have been helpful and welcoming at every step of the way. The location is fantastic – I can get to Dupont Circle or the shops on M Street on foot in minutes but still feel like I’m a bit off the beaten path. The amenities in the building are very impressive. The gym, business center, lounge, and lobby are beautifully designed. The apartment itself is perfect – floors, kitchen appliances, bathroom are all very tasteful and contemporary. They even seem to have thought about feng shui in the mailroom. The place is truly gorgeous. The staff have been incredibly friendly, responsive, and available whenever I ha
Moved in early 2024. Great location and the cleaning staff is kind, however I saw a mouse in my apartment due to a small hole in the wall. Reported it to management (slow response), but that's the key reason I left within a year. Coffee machine is okay but would never live here again. Oliver needs to be fired due to his aggressiveness when confronted about the pests - in all frankness, he's kind until you complain therein which he turns into a bully. Highly indicative of the highbridge rent-collection culture
Oliver and Jessica are phenomenal as well as Adrian our maintenance guy. Although the property managers recently changed (Deborah to Oliver), the building management hasn’t missed a beat. I moved here almost two years ago and while I’ve been tempted to leave and move elsewhere, the friendly building staff and convenient location have made it worth staying. Walls are a little thin and parking is limited, but the amenities like the community room, business center, gym, bike room, and dog wash station more than make up for it. Can’t imagine wanting to live anywhere else in Washington, DC. If you’re looking for a modern looking building complete with a warm and caring staff, this is the place for you!
This is a hidden gem of a building. The neighborhood has supreme historic charm and character, but Highbridge did a great renovation of every single apartment and amenity. Other buildings advertise and showcase their "fresher" units that have been recently renovated, but when you book a tour and find an extremely dated unit it leaves a sense of false advertising. Every unit in Highbridge has new and good quality finishings. Everything is clean, and chosen for ease of use and durability from the floors and walls to the appliances.
Highbridge looks nice at first glance, but there's a list of on-going issues here that are unresolved or cheaply covered up as temporary solutions. The building is poorly managed by Steelhead Management, who are unprofessional and unpleasant to correspond with. It's exhausting, frustrating and extremely time consuming trying to get issues resolved at Highbridge, and overall it doesn’t feel worth it to live here. - Since I've resided here, there has been a constant bug problem, rotting/splintering windows, my washer/dryer has been dsyfunctional for 6 months now, and there have been hot water issues ongoing for months now throughout the building. There's an HVAC issue that occurs at least once a year that has caused weekly (at one point monthly) central a/c outages for residents including my
