High Acres Apartments & Townhomes

I moved into high acres following the loss of my husband and our home. I had a beloved family member who lived at high acres following a similar situation in her life. It has been fine living here. A few.maintainence issues but they were resolved fairly quickly. I work as a substitute in local school district, so no income over the summer..it's okay..I plan for that. What I did not plan for or expect was nearly three weeks in the hospital. I became unexpectedly very ill..I was unable to.work..I was in my summer behind on rent mode anywsy..but was due to catch that up asap.. Sadly..no way. I am out of hospital now. Staying at my daughter's for a few days. I am locked out of my apartment..I went there yesterday to get some clothes and work out a plan.. there is none. I asked.if I

Absolutely horrible. The rent is ridiculous for what little space with the only thing including being the wifi. The "amenities" are supposed to include the use of the pool during the warmer months, only IF they supply a lifeguard, we stopped going to look only to have turn back and go home. God forbid that the maintenance people go out and plow the parking lots and roads, and shovel and salt. I couldn't tell you how many times my daughter and I always fell walking from the bus stop and back. And don't worry about dropping your wallet in the parking lot and not noticing, they'll turn it into the office, only afer they open it and ransack everything inside while providing the office with camera footage. Yo let me tell you, it’s wild how High Acres is stacked with bad reviews, and Morgan Properties still ain't getting the hint. The real problem is the property manager. she's been nothing but straight-up rude. She runs this place like it’s some low-income joint, no customer service at all just talks down to people like they ain't nothing. Her vibe is so off that you can see why her staff be leaving all the time it is laughable she can’t keep nobody. The only time anything actually gets done is when you gotta call corporate . And guess what? Even the regional manager just brushes you off like it’s nothing! Honestly, Morgan Properties needs to wake up and stand up for their residents. Lived here from April 2024- April 2025 and I enjoyed it here. For context I had an un renovated 2b 1.5 bath, close to 1000 sqft. I paid $1600 a month (including all my utilities). 15 minutes from downtown Syracuse, personally I felt this was a reasonable deal. I also got VERY lucky and was in building 38 which only had 4 other units. There is a lot of green space around the complex which was really refreshing. My only critiques- vet the people who are applying more, my first 3 months I had the unit down stairs (same model) filled with 8 disgusting and loud tenants. Literally we saw inside their apartment it was so gross, they smoked inside and the guy who lived there snored so loud you could hear it through the floors. Eventually they got evicted. High Acres goes above and beyond, grounds are always beautiful, Grass is always taken care of. As a resident of High Acres for six years I applaud the work they do here and how beautiful they keep it. Maintenance is a five star and our office is always on time, respectful and professional. Property Manager is awesome an it takes a village to keep this place in order! Thanks High Acres
