Hideaway North Scottsdale

I really would like to give Hideaway 5 stars. It’s a clean and updated apartment, and they have a competent and friendly maintenance staff. Unfortunately, if you live by the pool area, you will lose sleep on a nightly basis. More often than not, the staff leaves the loud common area music running through the night, even after the pool area is closed. Despite several calls to management and lots of of effort to reach out to the staff, they never seem to care enough to pay attention to the music. When it’s left on, it’s at a level that you can hear clearly through our apartment’s poorly insulated windows. I do realize we have the closest apartment to the pool - yet that should not be an issue if the staff followed their own policy of quite hours from 10:00 PM - 8:00 AM, and open hours from 1

Jessie was Amazing! She took the time to show us multiple residencies that The Hideaway has to offer. She was extremely knowledgeable about the property even though she is relatively new. We had a great experience and found the perfect unit. Thank you!

I have lived at several North Scottsdale properties. I’ve been at Hideaway for several months in a newly remodeled apartment and it is so charming. The units are very large and the amenities are great. Having a huge business center and conference room along with pickle ball and tennis were huge drivers for me. Walking to the Fairmont TPC for Starbucks in the morning is great. Management is fairly new, but the process was very smooth.

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. AVOID! Before we even moved in the communication was terrible which ended up costing us money because the management wouldn’t send us the contract and confirm moving date. Did they do anything to compensate? NOPE! Move in day they clearly hadn’t done a walk through and there was a lot of work that needed done which I wouldn’t be too upset about if you could ever get the Maintenance team to actually show up. Never received a welcome pack or any information and to this day we still don’t have the ability to use our smart locks or even how to use the thermostat. All this after the sales pitch said how these smart devices are great and you pay a monthly fee for them. Worst for last. I had the pleasure of having our food truck on site at the Hideaway this last weekend. Staff was great and accommodating. The residents were welcoming. Everyone loved Norma Jean’s Cheesecake and we hope to be back soon!
