Hidden Cove

Good lord. This place could be called hidden fees. Reviewing the contract for a friend pre move in, I couldn’t believe the hidden fees on top of rent. What happened to rent being your rent and nothing else? You literally can’t budget for this place, because there are variables, such as water bill, which isn’t your water bill, it’s the community water bill, split based on how many renters are in each unit. Which we all know there are always more people living there than on the lease. On top of that, they bill you $7, just for the pleasure of them splitting the water bill. Two bed unit before fees was $1600, plus a discount if you’re a good renter. Which looks like they can reverse pretty easily. Avoid

I'm a visitor who comes often to these apartments. The dog poop can is overflowing all the time and the smells are disgusting. Great welcome, right? They don't have picnic tables anywhere, like the ones on the photos. Main garbage dumpster is awful. Need pickup more often. Dishwasher is old and been repaired several time. Tubs are plastic and difficult to clean and the fixtures are old and hard to even turn. The floors were repaired a while ago and the laminate plastic is coming loose at every seam. Not professionally installed. And the tenants pay $2400. includes utilities, outrangeously high rent. Want to report "Hidden Cove" to Utah Housing Division. Beware!!!

Hidden Cove is a great community! Erica, the manager, has always been friendly, professional and organized in all our dealings. Very committed to making this a great place to live.

Don't rent from here! I pay $2,000 a month for a 2 bedroom 2 bath. My lease says my rent is $1,650 but then when you add in the utilities (not including gas or electric) and all the fees that they charge expect at least an additional $350-450 on top of what the rent will be. They are extremely intrusive; they are in my apartment at least every other month from some BS reason or another, looking through my entire apartment, making you feel like a criminal. As for the other glaring issues with this place, I will let my photos say everything else.

Just like every other terrible review I’ve read that this place deserves, you make a maintenance claim and they either do not address your issue, or they pretend to fix the problem. In a year and a half I’ve had over 11 maintenance requests ranging from peeling floors upon moving in, to insufficient water flow to the kitchen sink, to FLOODING three separate occasions that they STILL haven’t fixed (they’ve allegedly fixed this issue but it keeps happening). All my maintenance requests are for either the same or similar things. I’m forced to spend a ton of time to get small claims involved and I’d rather they just compensate for what they’ve NEGLECTED instead of avoiding any type of accountability
