1 yr. & 3 mos. I've been living here & went through many changes with the renters. A few good tenants while the rest just ruined the property value. For ex; Front indoor cracked glass @ the door entrance. I would like to see the tenants peaceful & quiet with no trouble.

I experienced living at Hertel Park Senior Apartments for 5 months. Im traumatized! Cock roaches! Everytime they exterminated per complaints. Flyer they gave to tenants to prepare stated company would be back out in two weeks to check for activity. Asked staff, got answer for some other problem. Flyers had no phone number to call of course. I looked it up Town and Country in Rochester. Talked to staff. He stated we are not allowed to talk to anyone but management. Figures! I continued to talk with him. He stated they NEVER scheduled them to come back. Still infested! bugs! Ants! No security! Alarm in hallway or someone's apartment beeping/non working for 4 days! Hallways stagnant odor. No air conditioning in tenant floors only where staff works. Regional Director Taylor Hubbard f

Majority of the washers and dryers do not work which makes it hard for residents to do their laundry with out a lot of hassle. Theres not a day that goes by where I’m not struggling myself to find a washer on one of the three floors and while doing so elders find them selves telling me they go through this all the time. Im an Aid and it frustrating for me , so I can only imagine an older person with no help doing it alone. Other than that this is a pretty nice apartment building Id say. The floors are always clean, halls smell of cleaning products or food which is good. Staff is nice Edit 10/01/24 : this problem was fixed not long after I made this review and the washer and dryers work pretty good.

The outside looks nice but the inside is dirty and dingy. Residents have parking but there isn't really anywhere to park if you don't live there. Security is lax and it doesn't take much for anyone to be able to walk in there.

I ultimately decided low income housing was not for me but my experience was a rewarding one and the apts and location are great. The assistant property Mgr is Russian not Hungarian and perhaps a little overworked but otherwise a conscientious worker. My advice would be consider whether low income housing is right for you first, if so this will be a great choice.
