Before moving into the 176 Presidents Lane apartments, I would seriously consider the below: 1. Excessive Construction Noise * Renovations begin immediately after units are vacated, which seems to happen frequently. * The ongoing construction creates constant noise disruptions, making it difficult to work from home or enjoy quiet time. Residents often receive no notice about renovations on their floor and only find out once loud drilling, hammering, or other work begins. Advance notice would greatly improve the resident experience. 2. Laundry Facilities * The washer and dryers are very outdated and still coin-operated. Considering the rent increases each year, it would make a big difference if management invested in upgrading to more modern, reliable machines. * Out of the ~7 machines av

I lived here for 6 years. One of the highlights was the exceptional maintenance team. They always went above and beyond. I asked to borrow a drill once when I bought a desk during the beginning of WFH in 2020. Instead, someone came and built my desk. When my personal air conditioner broke during a heat wave, they worked on it. I have found management to be kind and responsive. I only moved because a change in my personal circumstances. But I loved my Fenno St apartment. 10 minute walk to the T, 15 minute walk to the beach, surrounded by amazing take out and a beautiful park.

Was told by the owner to go and look at a place after we told him about our credit score and also us using housing assistance to get us in. The boss Mike told us to go and talk to Paul basically telling us everything was good to go. We talked to Paul and then he asked the same questions. Mike asked and said no after he said he was going to discuss it with his boss he couldn’t get in touch with him and instead made the decision on himself to tell me that I was not an eligible applicant because I didn’t pay my bills even though only reason my credit score is low is cause my fiancé was sick for six months with multifocal pneumonia a blood infection what septic on me almost died. People like this are disgusting. You never even had a conversation with me when we went to go see the place he was

I lived at the 176 Presidents Lane building for 5 years and could not have asked for a more responsive landlord. The location right in Quincy Center can't be beat and I felt the rent was very fair for the area. I dealt mainly with Paul for what few maintenance issues we had over the years and he always got things resolved ASAP without any of the runaround or BS that you hear about in a lot of Boston-area apartment buildings. For example: I distinctly remember one time having a plumbing issue on a Sunday; I called and left a message with the answering service around 7 am. I was not expecting to hear anything until the next day, but by 8 maintenance was knocking on my door and by 9 the problem was fixed. How often do you hear about stuff like that? All of the building/maintenance staff wer

I’m a tenant for the second year now and NEVER had any issues. From the beginning to now, Paul was very helpful and was always very quick to respond if I had any concerns or questions. The maintenance of the building is very well taken care. In 2 years I had just couple of minor issues which were solved right away. We always find the hallways clean and in a good shape. The apartment is very well taken care, and I would say it’s impressive, coz as far as I know, it’s an old building. I always pay my rent online and it’s very convenient. My life here is quiet and peaceful, neighbors are great and I have very little (almost zero) contact with the realtor office. I certainly recommend this place (fenno st building).
