Heritage Park Apartments

I lived here for about 4 years (2018-2022), and overall, they were a great place to live in. Maintenance was okay for the most part, they would fix things as soon as they knew about it. There was a particular lady at the office who was horrible at writing things down and letting maintenance know about it. Margaret was very nice and always made sure to get things done. The other staff at the office was good, however I didn't really know them. The apartments itself are a little outdated, but everything works well. My neighbors were clean for the most part. There was one particular neighbor whose place was always dirty, and I even saw a mouse coming out of their balcony. LIVED here 15 YEARS They have 2 POOLS- only open in the summer. 1 was closed for first few wks, then fully closed for rest of summer only half way through the season. And the other didn't even stay open till the end, the office claiming both pools were damaged from people breaking off the already old, poor quality plastered brick. AKA don't wanna fix. LAUNDROMATS SUCK- at one point one of them had only 1 washer (out of 6) working, and the driers rarely ever dry fully. We CANT HAVE ANYTHING hanging (including lights and decor) or considered a "fire hazard" ON THE BALCONY or front porch. Including NO BBQ, bins, chairs, any home storage basically. PARKING is OVER CAPACITY, so many have to park in nearby neighborhoods. But they let cars sit and take up spots for weeks.

I have never encountered such rude staff. When I went back a few days after moving out to finalize everything, I asked if I could have the mailbox key to retrieve any mail that might have been delivered to me. They refused. To make matters worse, they charged me almost my entire security deposit for repairs. The most frustrating part is that they charged me for a new carpet, even though the one in the apartment was already worn when I moved in.

I absolutely love this beautiful apartment! The space is everything I was looking for, and the new management team is fantastic. Maintenance team are so nice and friendly. They’re incredibly responsive and quick to address any concerns or needs. It’s been such a great experience living here, and I’m really impressed with how well everything is managed. Highly recommend!
