Heights of Hoover

Living at Heights of Hoover has been a great experience for me, the community is quiet, well-kept, and a great place to live. I especially want to recognize my amazing property manager, Mrs. Kim Beebe. She has truly been an angel to me—always kind, professional, and willing to help whenever needed. The property itself seemed fine based on what we were shown, but unfortunately our experience with the leasing agent, Kim, was very disappointing. We came in as a walk-in tour and understood that would mean some waiting, since the leasing agents work remotely. Kim told us it would take her about ten minutes to arrive, but it ended up being over thirty minutes. When she did arrive, she sat in her car for a while before coming over, even though she clearly saw us waiting. While waiting, both my fiancé and I called her just to confirm she was still coming. When she finally approached us, she began complaining about “people calling her.” My fiancé tried to explain that it was us and that we weren’t trying to rush her, just to check in. I love it here 🥹 it’s been three months and I was very hesitant in leaving my last location (with it being 40 minutes away from here, as well as a longer commute to my job), but Kim has made me feel so comfortable with moving so far away from home to find a new one 🥹 This place is definitely a hidden gem! 💗 I don’t like to gate keep but I’ll definitely gate keep this one 💗

We really love living at the Heights of Hoover. Kim is a great property manager and got us secured in the apartment that was right for us on short notice when we unexpectedly moved to the area. The property management team has been awesome, they respond to questions and handle maintenance requests promptly and respectfully. We love our apartment and feel like it is safe, spacious, updated nicely, and a fair rent price. The pool is great, too!

These are the worst apartments I’ve lived in and I’ve lived in a not so great area before I moved over here. At least with that landlord, he understood that I have a special needs child and couldn’t live in unsafe and hazardous conditions. This complex? Hmph! Literally something has went wrong in these apartments since I’ve moved here in Dec of 2019. Maintenance doesn’t come out until 3 weeks later, but that’s only if you pester them. I have mold growing in my closet by the air/Heat unit, they paint over it instead of looking into it. My floorboards are deteriorating and a pest has made its way until my apartment. Called maintenance about that, haven’t heard anything. Now my fridge has gone out and I’ve lost food that will not be easy to replace. Calling the health department ASAP! Not to
