Heights at New Garden

My experience at Heights of New Garden has been overwhelmingly disappointing. Under Crowne, communication was prompt and issues were actually addressed. Since Heights took over, communication has been virtually nonexistent. Processes are unclear, unexplained, and only brought up after they’ve already become a problem. Despite the system confirming my lease renewal, it was never actually processed—nearly pushing me into an unwanted month-to-month agreement. Once that was resolved, I discovered new charges for trash and sewer, even though those fees were previously included in my rent. After paying November’s rent, I was hit with an additional charge for renters insurance, even though I had provided my declaration back in October. IGNORE EVERY REVIEW MADE BEFORE 2026. Bought out last summer and the new owners are HORRIBLE. Bugs, no response from the office, fines for everything, unsafe parking areas, and maintenance guys who are under qualified, over confident, and skeezy.

I’m here visiting family and I must say this is a nice complex. Quiet, nice neighbors, nice pool and the grounds are well taken care of. Really nice big mature trees that provide tons of shade. Landscaping is wonderful.

I've always said that first impressions count. Today we had a tour planned, and when we arrived, as soon as they saw us, an employee pretended to be on a call, and the other person told us they were going to reschedule us for tomorrow because they couldn't see us today. So, they couldn't call us or send us an email saying the appointment was canceled. I wouldn't recommend them. They're not organized at all. We had a bad experience.
