It’s going on 4 years with Hawthorne Living, I’ve lived here through multiple shootings, a murder, a fire occurring just across the court yard, and non- stop renovations. My rent continues to increase each year with no updates to the apartment. I needed some work done In my bathroom, the fan was left open and a bird flew into my bedroom at 7am on a Saturday morning! The paint job was/is terrible. Paint dripped all over the bathroom floor and on the base heater. They left such a mess when they were done and still I didn’t cause any stir. Until now… Because now I feel like management is not doing anything to address a very real and serious health hazard in the complex. Donna , Was A Nice & Very Understandable to My Friend Thru The Process Of Moving Into her nice apartment. Also Donna Made Her Feel Welcome To Her New Community . My Friend Said She loved everything about that community because Donna made her feel so welcome . I will rent at this community

I have been emailing and coming in to the leasing office for the past few months about our downstairs neighbors harassment towards us. The office has continuously lied that they will handle it and refuse to help us. Maybe if I write a review, I will actually get a response to my email! We’ve lived here for almost a year now and we’ve truly enjoyed it. We had to get a lot of repairs done and their maintenance guy Leon has always been so helpful and fixes everything quickly! We know we can always count on him!

I rather sleep in my car for a year instead of leasing with Hawthorne, their maintenance tech literally smoke crack with the residents 🤦🏻‍♂️ there’s been shootings here crime does have a zip code and it’s 11722 this place is disgusting my I will regret the time I’ve spent living here for the rest of my life! Please go anywhere I beg of you don’t make the same mistake I did

Unless you want your child, family member or dog to get bitten by another tenants dog off leash I highly highly highly suggest DO NOT LIVE HERE They make you agree to all these “rules & policies” that nobody obeys and nobody is held accountable. I’ve lived here less than 6 months and was attacked while walking my dog by a pitbull owned by a neighbor who was OFF LEASH and when reported to the office they simply told me “Manager won’t be in this week but she will call you” they even wasted my time asking for an incident report about the situation with photos and after 3 weeks STILL NO CALL, not even a courtesy call saying “hey we’re sorry, how are things? And this is what we plan to do” nothing They sell you on the renovated apartments which look great but try getting past the weed smoke
