Hawthorne at Whitehall

I’ve lived here for 9 months now and wanted to leave an honest review since I keep getting emails to. Overall, the community itself looks nice and is in a good area, but there have been a few frustrations during my time here. Early on, I received an email saying I couldn’t keep my bicycles on my balcony. They were stored vertically on a stand and the lease only had a broad statement about keeping balconies clear, nothing specific. I still had space and even had two lounge chairs set up, but I was told it “didn’t look good,” so I removed them. Another ongoing issue has been the dog stations. They’re not always kept stocked with bags and sometimes aren’t maintained as well as they could be. When bags run out, some residents unfortunately stop picking up after their dogs, which leads to a m

Hawthorne at Whitehall is such a beautiful new apartment community! They even offer townhomes, which is a huge bonus. The floor plans are laid out perfectly and the rooms are super spacious, you can really tell a lot of thought went into the design. Plus, it’s managed by Hawthorne Residential Partners, which is always a great sign. Highly recommend checking it out!

The whole team is extremely nice. However i have had the pleasure of working with Jessica Gillis a few times. She is super nice and she is very proud of her work . She has helped me tremendously. I highly recommend her to help you with things regarding your apartment concerns. The apartment complex is very nice and the complex is very quiet and they also have parking passes to make sure you have a place to park your car. It’s very nice and so far my experience with staff and my apartment has been immaculate.

Maintence guy Jeff is 10/10. Ive had 3 minor requests (mostly being a young girl and not knowing simple things lol) and as soon as I put in a request he came instantly to resolve the problem immediately. No matter the weather. Today he came in the snow which was shocking and amazing. Thank you so much for your help ! I wanted to wait to write a review for accuracy. I moved here in September from Virginia and Ive had a really good experience so far with no complaints at all. Jessica from the leasing office has been very helpful regarding any questions and follow up with you regarding maintence requests to ensure they were completed. You’re only as good as your front office and maintenance teams when you rent your home. Both office and maintenance at Hawthorne at Whitehall are on top of things and responsive. They work hard to keep the community running well and it shows that they operate on high standards. I pay my rent on time and follow the community guidelines and I really enjoy living here with my dogs. I plan to stay here as long as possible because of the way I have been treated and how hard the team works. Property management is not for the weak and I appreciate the excellent job they’re doing. Shoutout Jessica for having me hooked from the start with her kindness and patience. Thanks to the whole team for making this a great place to live.
