Horrible I set up a tour with them and when I should up no one was there. Nor did anyone answer the phone I stood outside in the cold for over 20 mins because I got there early in order not to WASTE anyone's time but clearly the Hawaiian gardens doesn't care about wasting anyone else's time. Why set up a tour just for no one to be here or answer the phone.

Terrible service in common areas. The washing machines never work. You can send a direct report and speak to the apartment manager, but they don't fix the damage to the washing machines. There are no public laundromats nearby.

My wheelchair bound elderly father lives there and they are almost never available to answer any concerns. The packages I have delivered for him have been stolen many times. One time, the health aide and I were trying to carry my dad up the stairs and my phone fell out of my pocket. By the time I got him up the stairs and came back down to retrieve it, it was gone. FindMyPhone traced it through several buildings so it had to be someone employed by Borger because they had access to multiple buildings. There is a vermin problem that my parents insist on trying to take care of themselves; but I see huge vermin in the hallways. They do not answer their phone. They are not available during their posted office hours.

DO NOT RENT HERE!!! My experience was terrible with Hawaiian Apartments. If you have money to pay rent please do not spend it here. When I moved in there were roaches everywhere and the apartment was no where near finished. The bathroom floor was not done, doors were not put in, blinds were not up and again it was a disgusting amount of roaches throughout the unit. There are structural issues to the unit and again roaches, but the management office was not helpful in the slightest bit. I thought it was fairly reasonable to be refunded a move in fee considering when I moved in the unit was not in a habitable condition.
