I had the opportunity to visit the Haverford model homes as I helped a friend unpack who recently moved into the development. Prior to my visit, I had never heard of Haverford developers, but was curious to know how much the model home square footage differed from the actual homes being sold. First, I must advise that the development is still under heavy construction with mounds of dirt, bulldozers, and many vacant lots. It's a huge developing community off of congested Pennsylvania Avenue (Route 4). As you enter the development, the single family homes are situated in the front. You have to drive through several streets of single family homes before reaching the townhomes in the rear of the large development.
