Harmony Senior Apartments

I don't live here, but a relative does. This complex is nice, clean, and has elevators inside as well as a gym and an outdoor swimming pool & hot tub. Depending on the time of day I do have a hard time getting in and out if I'm visiting. The unit I visited was a one bedroom, with no washer and dryer. It's also a quiet place to live located near an Albertsons and several restaurants in a decent part of town.

The on-site Manager Tekisha Perez and her colleagues are professional. friendly and do their utmost to resolve any problems or issues that arise! Their maintenance department is exceptional; as soon as they receive a work order. within a day or 2 an appointment is made to do the repairs! I had posted a negative review several years ago, but now they have definitely stepped up their game since then!

My mother in law has lived there for a few years and has a very hard time walking and getting around. She is on a fixed income and every few months they jack up the rent leaving her short on everything else. And DONT get me started on the damn 1st elevator. That thing is broken for months at a time but when they fix it it breaks within an hour trapping residents in the elevator with no way to get out other than the fire department. This place seems to not care about the safety and well being of their residents. With that being said DONT MOVE THERE

Her blend of technical skills, problem solving, strong communication skills, and proactive approach to maintenance makes me feel well taken her. She is hard-working, dependable, organized, accommodating, detail oriented, kind, and works well with management, peers, residents, and visitors. I have been at Harmony for 6 years and lived on the 3rd floor. I moved from a ground floor apt in the SW to Harmony's 3rd floor because of the close access to the elevator. Here in the last 2 months the elevator has been down; so you have to walk all the way to the other end to the 2nd elevator or use the stairs. For me, that's a dealbreaker and I had to move. If it wasn't for the elevator I would NOT have moved. So, I would not recommend moving here if you have health conditions that limit your walking or climbing the stairs which is my case. Otherwise, I did like my time there and wished I didn't have to move.
