Harmony Apartments at Columbus

I recently visited this property with the intention of taking a tour and potentially leasing. As I work in property management myself, I understand the importance of customer service and first impressions. Unfortunately, my experience was extremely disappointing. I called ahead and was told to stop by during certain hours. When I arrived, the only staff member present—who I believe was the manager—was already dealing with a complaint on the phone. I explained that I was here for a tour, and instead of assisting me directly, she told me to check online for available slots. Then she mentioned that the person I had spoken to on the phone was not even present and had given me incorrect information. Diane was GREAT with everything! She made sure we understood what was going on weekly and really went the extra mile! Bri also assisted us and made sure ALL repairs were done prior to move in. There were a couple of cosmetic things that were not but nothing that would prevent anyone from living in the apartment. I appreciate her keeping her word. Both ladies work together very well!

Run as fast as you can if they ask you for a deposit of a full months rent. You will have to go the route I’m going and settle in court. I was advised that paint is not normal wear and tear. They charged my deposit $600 for repainting an apartment that we left in great condition. I have shown and asked several landlords for their opinion on this and all state for a first time renter and to have kids this was a great example of leaving an apartment in good condition. Painting should be done by the owner. I will attach pictures of how the apartment was left at move out. Just be aware if you do move here save all of your paperwork. You may need it. So far, the place and people working are amazing, nice, patient, and knowledgeable about politics and such. Fellow tenants are kind so far and quiet during the night. Rooms are clean, electricity works immediately, running hot and cold water in shower, and patio on second floor is pretty. Mainly the employees and managers are what’s amazing for me because they helped me a lot with the process of moving in, signing everything, paying everything, and being patient with someone who has never done this before.

Brilya Williams is amazing! She showed us an amazing apartment and is a wonderful and professional person with a lot of information. She had answers for all of our questions. Harmony apartments are a great community and the area has very convenient amenities. We are looking forward to being part of the neighborhood.
