"Encumbered & free of liens" must mean something different to Harbout Title than what it means legal terms, because that is not what we got when closing property with Harbour Title this June . ''Encumbrance'' just arise, from last November 2022 expired but still open permit, we bought it only a month ago July 2023, and we were supposed to get ENCUMBRANCE free property?! Edit , just got notification from Town , now we have 2 open permits . First permit notification is for temporary driveway- from County ,second open permit from City , expired but open for Fence ?! Truly - I wonder what other things they missed? Be very aware of those types of business practices !
