Harbor Blu Apartments

(If I could give zero stars, I would.) This place is a nightmare. The entire Harbor Blu and Palms East buildings are infested with roaches, and despite management’s so-called “fixes,” nothing actually gets resolved—it’s just lipstick on a pig. My unit had such a severe infestation that I was forced to break my lease early and throw out 90% of my belongings. On top of that, the water heater was faulty, yet instead of addressing these serious issues, management is making me pay to break my lease. For six months, I submitted multiple maintenance requests about the roach problem, yet my unit remained infested, and nothing was done to properly treat it. Think before you rent Updated post November 8th 2024 Original post is below the updated post. Original review was given five stars. Apartment kitchen is very small with no amenities there is a fridge stove and sink. No garbage disposal, no dishwasher, no washer and dryer hookups in the apartment. It's under new management and there has been many changes as a resident of not all of them are for the better of the community. One of the biggest changes under the new owner is the office tab does not answer the phone and does not return calls. You have to do everything through their app and wait until they get around to it and assign it if you need service done. The All the buildings have issues with roaches as well as rats. These apartments were built in the 1960's so they are renovating them basically as they get rented. Obviously old management and bad tenants have left many of these apartments in bad shape. However the few maintenance issues that I have requested have all been taken care of and they are very nice and accommodating at the office. Obviously we live in Florida so there are bugs but they come from outside. I had to do some basic finishing on the cabinetry and I also purchased weather stripping to put in between the cracks of the sliding glass doors to keep the bugs out and so far I have had very few. Where to start. The maintenance workers get preferential treatment, all the items you're not allowed to have on your back porch they are allowed, they parked cars with no tags and tags that are months expired in our parking spots and we're not talking about one or two cars, several. So you have little places to park. The workers will use the empty Apartments to party in with music playing loud. Then some of the empty apartments they are working till 9:00, 10:00pm! At night on a weekdays!. If you try to go in the office and complain or ask for some type of resolve you will get little and response. At night time you'll see U-Haul trucks or other vehicles of people moving in suspiciously at night. Those ""empty apartments"" they are working on, there's people living in them. And the office
