Lived on a Hance property for almost 5 years. Charles was wonderful in helping me through the initial lease process and that is where the great service ends. Would have to request repairs several times through the portal. Requested repairs or for wear & tear to be documented during annual walk-throughs and there would be zero follow up. Moved out at the end of April and am just now getting my security deposit processed. I paid a $600 non-refundable pet deposit plus an additional $1,900 deposit. Just found out I'm only receiving $350 back... charging me over $800 for normal wear & tear painting and $1,150 to cut back a single bush & a couple trees that i just had done. I have been in my rental for 8 years and everyone at Hance Realty has shown absolute kindness and professionalism. They have always made sure my needs were top priority, handling everything immediately no matter the time or day. When it came time to purchase my first house two months ago, they were patient and knowledgeable every step of the way until we found my perfect home. We rented a property managed by Hance Realty. All maintenance requests were made in a timely manner. After renting for almost a year we we decided to buy our own house and both Silvia and Charles were very helpful. Silvia was our agent and went out of her way to accommodate all our searching requests. I just really enjoyed working with Silvia, she is very attentive and very responsive. If you need a real estate agent she is the one. Silvia would always have your interests protected. We got our house exactly where we wanted and in a price range we wanted. Hance Realty by far in one of the best real estate agencies I have ever been blessed to come across. Back in October 19, 2016 we were blessed enough to stumble across them after a trial of failed attempts. I had just lost my mother recently and needed to relocate and start fresh since the emotional downfall was a bit heavy for us all. Hance Realty ( Mr.Charles and his brilliant Sons) we just the absolute best and their professionalism was beyond top notch. We have been living here since 2016. They are always making sure everything is fine with the house, they check up on us, they are always quick to answer the phone and if they just happen to miss you they will get in contact within a short time. First off let me say at first we really enjoyed Hance Realty and Mr. Charles. However, we were military and we had to break our lease. They stated that they didn't see that the orders were accompanied so all of us were going. They wanted us to stay while my husband was leaving. Then a day before our lease renewal they told us we had to sign it or we had 30 days to be out when we had been trying to contact them but hadn't heard from them. They raised our rent last minute so we had a days notice. Then we moved out. I spent 24 hours cleaning the house, steam cleaning everything and they still took over $900 from our security deposit even after we paid to have the carpets cleaned ourselves.
