Hampton Village

Quick application, very quiet, safe, comfortable. I like it. Only issue is if you live down stairs and you have neighbors that are loud, you can here everything. But other than that. Everything is fine. Maintenance is very prompt. Everything in my apartment works fine. I have the new modern tile flooring. I like it because the clean ups are easier and I’m sure it’s easy for them to clean when people move out.

The rent here is not bad but other than that I would stay away. I know I will be moving out as soon as my lease is up. I am currently sitting in my vehicle at 1am locked out of my own apartment because I sadly lost my keys. Usually this is not a huge deal most places offer lock out services for their tenants. But not J.W. Hunter! There only advice will be to call a 24 hour locksmith. This is NOT a service that is available in my this area, trust me I called every one of them in the phone book. So you get to pay rent for the opportunity to sit outside all night because you accidentally lost your key and some soulless corporate entity that you'll never meet gets to decide everything about your life 🤷‍♂️ But hey dont worry! If you call their "Emergency Maintenance Hotline" you will receive

No peace!!! The neighbors sit outside playing music at full volume all day and management does nothing about it. Nothing better than coming home after working 10 hours to non stop thumping from a car radio. There are kids in this neighborhood that have to get up for school in the morning, yet every night until around 3am someone plays music at full blast until it rattles the windows and floors. Management has been notified and does nothing. Whats the point of moving into a complex where the management just lets everyone run wild and do whatever they please. Take your money and move somewhere else. If you encounter any problem like this while staying here, you're basically screwed. Management just wants you to shut up and hand them the rent every month.

I just recently moved to Hampton Village Apartments. I love the hardwood floors and the space. However, the walls are very thin and you can hear your neighbors and they can hear you. If you have kids that like to play and play rough or be loud, this is not the place to reside. This is going to be a long year especially with COVID and not being able to take my children places. Out of all of the apartment complexes I have ever resided in, these are the only ones where the walls are very much thin and you can hear everything with your neighbors surrounding you and on top of you. Will be moving out after my year lease is up. The neighborhood is quiet, that's a good thing, easy clean up after move out, but other than that I don't know.

If it was possible to rate this place at a negitive 10 stars I would. First off the office staff is absolutely horrible especially the manager Mrs.Perry how she even holds the position is beyond me. The maintenance guy is a complete creep will come in your apartment when your showering. They harass you when your not doing anything wrong the walls are paper thin kids screaming people fighting all night long. Cops are there 24/7, people shooting guns in the middle of the night. Save your money and peace of mind DO NOT RENT FROM THIS HORRIBLE PLACE!
