Hampton House Apartments

I lived here for about 3 years and I can say it was one of my best apartment experiences. I had very few interactions with some not so friendly neighbors, but otherwise every one keeps to themselves and are courteous. Christy is great and communication with her is always prompt, very kind and understanding. Laundry is on site and so are free storage units. Sometimes parking got packed but otherwise amazing place for the price. I genuinely will miss living here!

It is a great place and I chose it on purpose. Then I realized how how much street noise there is. In January the wind blew all of the heat out of my pace through the windows. I mostly had to wait 20 minutes to get any hot water since I wanted to shower in the middle of the night and I guess the hot water was coming from the boiler in the basement. Again, it's a charming old building and I chose it on purpose because it was only $800 a month at the time. It's not worth what they want for it now. The new owners are very nice and extremely responsive if you have any issues. The pricing or the 950 a month that they want for it is my only problem. There are better places around for the same price And yes they gave my deposit back which is why they're getting four stars

I've been living in this apartment for 3 years, and overall, it's been a great place to call home. The location is in heart of Des Moines, with easy access to restaurants, supermarkets, etc. The apartment itself is well-maintained with all needed amenities. The community is quiet and friendly, making it an ideal spot for those seeking a peaceful living environment. The property managers are quite responsive and helpful! I would definitely recommend this apartment to anyone looking for a peaceful and hassle-free living experience.

I've been living here for about two years now; always had good times being here. The neighbors are pretty chill, never had any issues with people here from the time I've spent residing at these apartments. Also very good monthly rent for how nice of a living space this is. I genuinely hope that I can be a lifetime resident here, so that this apartment is my last and only forever home.

8/10/25 The Management team continues to make me feel welcome and appreciated here at the Hampton House Apartments. I am grateful for all of the help, and recommend to anyone looking for a nice place to call home to apply! The management here was very helpful with the approval process, they made things very easy and I was approved quickly. I had a plumbing issue and used the application they have for renters to request a repair and it was fixed the next morning. It is in a wonderful neighborhood.
