Hammersmith Management Loveland

Very helpful to my unique situation. My brother, the owner, has recently passed away and we needed information on how to proceed. I received a direct email and phone number to the appropriate person. They were very understanding of our situation and the delays. Finally a positive experience in all the people I've had to call in dealing with my brother's death.

As an HOA President for the past fourteen years I have worked with at least a half a dozen HOA managers and Jennifer is right up there with the best. She responds to my requests, of which I have many, in a timely manner so we can together accomplish many improvements in our townhome community. The community has never looked better.

Called -2 times left messages for Sue. No call back- couldn’t find a contact number to find them. Had to call my bank and have them tell me. No newsletters, no communication, unprofessional. They get paid to do NOTHING. My neighbors feel the same. They are not a good company for Boyd Lake residents to work with. Trying to find out who my “community director” is to kick them out. Our private road needs to be re-paved- common area isn’t landscaped properly, other HOA’s use our common area- we can’t use theirs. Very discriminatory management. Street parking horrendous, dog poop everywhere. They simply don’t care. Not even a follow up email, call. Customer service- not even rated a 1 star- receptionist was extremely rude. She wouldn’t give me Sue’s email address.

Hammersmith is the most inept property management company I’ve ever had to deal with. There is no communication what’s so ever on their end with property owners. I placed a work order in November, they said they were responsible for the damages, and the last time I’ve heard from them was in January. It gets better. They wrongfully charged me for emergency maintenance that I never requested, nor had I had any maintenance done to my property. I requested to speak to a supervisor and they said one would reach out to me which they never did. They said they would put my account on hold as to not take money THAT DOESN’T BELONG TO THEM out of my account, but they took the money. Don’t let Hammersmith manage your property unless you enjoy wasting your time and throwing away money.

Very bad experience with Hammersmith both as a board member and a property owner. Several neighbors feel the same way. It wasn't always this bad. I would say they were pretty good (probably 4 stars) until sometime in 2018 and have gone rapidly downhill since to a 1 star in 2024. Rude Doesn't respond to homeowners Complete mismanagement of large projects and failure to understand homeowner responsibilities vs. HOA Inability to manage more than one issue at a time. So bad at managing their tasks our board of directors set up a special Trello workspace to remind them of the tasks. One manager was so bad that they had to reimburse our community for several months of non-work Doesn't bother to understand HOA covenants and provides bad advice to the board.
