Hall Street Court Apartments

I've lived here for over 7.5 years. This current management company (SMI) is the worst of the 3 I've experienced here so far. My apartment had mold in it due to the upstairs apartment bathroom leaking into my apartment walls. I was called a liar, but when my bathroom walls started crumbling there was mold. There are four apts with attached sewer lines so if one apts puts something smelly down their kitchen sink everyone in their quad smells it. With the new management company (SMI) we have a shared laundry room and one of our dryers broke recently. I know that I submitted 3 requests to have the dryer fixed. The requests always get canceled so I finally called and complained and got the direct # for our maintenance person. And left a message with no response. I have half done maintenance jo

I have never lived in an apartment with sooo many bugs. They don’t maintain pest control, the tenants have to. That’s hard to do if only 1 person does it. My unit smells like cigarettes, I feel like I see the old nicotine drips even though there’s free paint. I can literally scrub it off the walls. I’ve placed a maintenance request with no response. Management changed less than a month after I signed the lease. I haven’t really heard from any of the new owners. I can’t even get a hold of someone to talk with. The parking really sucks. The upgrades are very nice and new feeling. It definitely isn’t perfect but there aren’t HUGE safety concerns on my end. I haven’t tested for lead and these are old. If it has lead…. That is huge but they make you sign something agreeing your taking that risk

my poor mother had to live at this place, the maintenance guy with the red dodge truck was a creep and made my mom very uncomfortable. i would never recommend this place to anyone, also there is no privacy, the maintenance and managers always try to find reasons to come into the apartments for "maintenance". the other tenants are loud and play loud music. it's very ghetto if you ever find yourself in the unfortunate event of living here, make sure to lock your car doors! also there is a huge bug problem, roaches and ants even on the top floors of the building. just do yourself a favor and stay away from this place!
