Gunston Hall Apartments

Earlier this week I put in a work order as my smoke alarm went to off ( for no reason) at 2am & T 5am I was told alarm is new ( which it is ) i was asked if I was cooking ( I wasn't). Today smoke alarm went off at 1;51 am Disruption of my sleep moves my life from well to hell. Have texted landlady. Have emailed landlady & owner. Am extremely concerned as this place has no maintenance help on the weekend at all

Lovely garden with outdoor seating, a rocking chair, and a hammock. Has good bus lines stopping at the entrance. A metro stoo would have been better. Apartments are a bit too small though.

Owner simultaneously raised all rents and reduced services to the complex. Replaced facilities team and has new persons focus on apartment renovations while ignoring grounds and internal public access areas cleanliness and maintenance. Sad really, during the bankruptcy period the Trustee improved all areas of the complex, now the owner is reverting to the previous uncaring habits.

I've lived in Gunston Hall Apartments from April 2013 to March 2018. The last two years these are some of the cockroach manifestations that plagued my apartment. (Images are attached and verifiable) The management inadequately responded to our concerns, even as going as far as blaming other tenants for the problems. As a Russian-American, I experienced xenophobia from a previous maintenance operator to my inquest to solve this problem had to do with me not understanding English and experiencing a cultural misunderstanding, even though I have lived in the United States for 20 years.
