$2,450 for a radon system and drywall work that I ultimately had to pay someone else to fix. The drywall repair was poorly done, didn’t match the existing texture, and looked unfinished. They also left drywall dust behind, which resulted in complaints from my HOA and me cleaning up the mess they left. When I raised concerns, they offered to send the same technician back to fix it. Based on the original workmanship and lack of proper materials, I had no confidence this would result in a quality repair. I instead had to pay my own contractor to correct it, and the difference was night and day as you can see in photo. I am reviewing Gulf Coast, even though I never hired them. Merl Moore and his staff are deserving of the highest praise for the personal attention they show to their customers. I recently bought a new condo and the sellers, who were very conscientious, advised potential buyers that radon was present, and that it would be mitigated before closing. The seller hired Gulf Coast and arranged for the mitigation to be done before closing. I was able to come by during the installation and never have I had a better experience with a company. I met the person in charge of the installation who answered all my questions - he was friendly, thoroughly professional and knowledgeable. I just want to thank all the employees at Gulf Coast Radon for all the work they have done for my wife and I while buying or condo down here in SWFL. Our first contact with them was via email because we were still in Massachusetts and had bought a condo down here. Some issues arose with the installation, mainly needing to upgrade our electric panel. But we had already closed on the condo. They tried hard to get the sellers to pay for the new panel. but to no avail. They referred us to an electrician that they use who was just as professional and courteous as Gulf Coast. These folks go above and beyond the call of duty to get the job done right and with a smile on their faces. I highly recommend them to do any radon mitigation needs you have. THANK YOU! Horrible Customer Service! I had a Radon Mitigation System installed by this company years ago. It wasn't till I was having my A/C replaced that I just found out that the mitigation fan was wired into my air handler. The a/c technician informed me that not only would my new a/c not pass inspection with that wiring, but that wiring would void the warranty of my a/c. This should not have been done. I called Gulf Coast and asked them about coming out to rewire the fan explaining the situation and also telling them that I understood that this system was out of warranty but that this should be considered a extraordinary circumstance.
